FinCraft

Refund policy

When you can have your money back, and how. Fincraft is sold as a yearly subscription per household, so this policy is short — but it is meant to be kept, not argued over. It forms part of the terms of use.

1. Fourteen days, no questions

If you are not satisfied, write to [not set] within 14 days of a first paid subscription or of a renewal, and we refund that payment in full. You do not have to give a reason, and you keep everything you entered: the household simply returns to the Free plan.

Each household can try a paid plan free for 30 days, once. Nothing is charged during the trial and no payment details are taken, so there is nothing to refund: if you do not choose to pay, the household simply returns to Free when the trial ends.

2. After fourteen days

3. When we refund part of a year

We refund the unused part of a paid period, worked out day by day, when:

4. Mistaken and duplicate payments

If you paid twice for the same invoice, paid the wrong amount, or paid for a household that is not yours, the excess is refunded in full whatever the date. Tell us as soon as you notice.

5. What a refund is not

Fincraft is record-keeping and planning software. We do not refund because an investment, budget, forecast or tax estimate turned out differently from what the figures suggested: those figures are calculations from what you entered, as the disclaimer explains, and the money decisions remain yours. We hold none of your money, so a refund is only ever of the subscription you paid us.

6. How to ask, and how long it takes

7. Your legal rights

This policy adds to the rights you have under the consumer law where you live; it does not take any of them away. If you are unhappy with how a refund request was handled, write to [not set].
